At the end of the summer term, we planned to walk from school to East Garston, on a pilgrimage to consider our environment spiritually, morally and socially. The weather, however, was not on our side and we had to postpone it. So it is particularly exciting that we are planning to complete our pilgrimage next week. Did you know that there are only 200 chalk streams in the world and we are going to be walking alongside one - the Lambourn River. We are being welcomed by many supporters on the way at the Quaker Meeting House, East Garston Church, Manor Farm and Priscilla's Kitchen. We can't wait!
