Wow, what a week! What a great game of netball we just played!

It was so lovely to end our Friday where the children and adults were beaming, full of energy and glowing from all the running around! Good teamwork was shown and the children showed great respect to each other. Well played everyone!

Persuasive Speech

This week, we have been learning our model text off by heart, looking at the 'shape' of it to understand the order, the journey and the features that underpin this text. There has been some great testing of memory through this - great effort all!

In maths we have been working super hard on understand equivalent fractions and how to simplify them so that we can confidently order and compare them. It has been a challenge but the children have shown great resilience. In class worship today we took time to discuss what we can do when we find something tricky. The summary of the discussion was that sometimes we have to take a moment, a pause, a breath to just remind ourselves that we can do it. It might just take a little longer to get there. Remaining calm helps! The children said that if you believe in yourself, trust in your ability, you will get there... and you will feel good!

Wishing everyone a restful weekend and hoping those who are under the weather a speedy recovery. Sending our best.
