The children have made it to half term! They have worked so hard! This week we have had a couple of highlights. The first one being linked with finding out about the Jewish New Year festival - Rosh Hashanah. The children learnt how this festival is celebrated and they tried apples dipped in honey. This is eaten during the festival of Rosh Hashanah as a symbol of the sweet New Year that each Jewish person hopes lies ahead. Despite some children not liking apples, they enjoyed apple dipped in honey!

Our second highlight was the Speed Stacking competition. The children from Year 1 and 2 who represented our school won gold medals - amazing! They worked together as a great team and showed that being slow and steady and taking care, can win the race!

Have a lovely half term!
