2nd Feb 2024

Firstly, I am really sorry that there are no photographs this week. However, despite this, the children have still been very busy! Earlier in the week the children were introduced to the story "The Day The Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt. This story will be inspiring the children to have a go at writing a letter over the next few days. We will be learning about the key features of letter writing.

The children also enjoyed completing their landscape drawings of our school grounds. We took a photograph and then the children tried very hard to copy it, showing perspective in their drawings. They know that the objects near the front of the picture need to look bigger and that the objects further away need to look smaller. The children were also shown how to to carefully shade with a pencil crayon.

Have a lovely weekend!
