We are looking for some special people to join our team from September 2018.

Since 2006 our two schools have been a ‘federation’ offering service to our two communities in an idyllic rural setting. We are forward looking and strive for high standards in all that we do. We have clear educational objectives; team focused staff; commitment to our children and families and enhanced provision through extending opportunities for our pupils.

As the school expands, we are now inviting applications from committed, professional and enthusiastic people to fill posts from September (2018).

Two Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support to Visually Impaired children.

We want two experienced people to support two children; one in EYFS and one in KS2.

Teaching Assistant with KS1 and 2 experience.

These roles require experience of working across the Primary School is essential, including the teaching of phonics.

Sports and Classroom Learning Mentor.

We want a thoughtful and patient practitioner who is able to support learning inside and outside of the classroom. The role will focus on support through the development and organisation of sporting activities.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Literacy, Numeracy and ICT competence
  • understanding of how to scaffold children’s learning

The Teaching Assistant and Learning Mentor posts are offered as Fixed Term contracts at Level 2 SCP C10–15, depending on experience/qualifications – 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Term time only.

Salary Range £16863–£17972 p.a FTE. Actual salary pro rata c. £9570–c. £10,200. The term of these contracts will be discussed at interview; expected to be a minimum of 12 months.
