Hello! We are the Eagles class. Our class includes children in years 5 and 6 and so we are at the top of the school.
We are lucky to have the library as part of our classroom and we use it for our learning every day. There are usually 2 or 3 adults in our class to help us learn. We do have plenty of different things in a school week. Friday is music day and also we do plenty of sport. Our sports jackets have been sponsored and they look really cool when we go to other schools to play matches.
We have a turn at Forest School too, which is amazing. Our learning is based around our Individual Learning Plans and we all know what we are working towards and what we need to do to get even better. We are not all good at the same thing so we try to help each other. We like it that we are all different and we respect everybody.
New children have joined our class over the last year and that is fun. It's good to meet new friends and to hear about life in other schools.
When you get to Eagles class, you go on a residential visit for 4 days and the challenges are a bit scary but it's to move us out of our comfort zone!
In our class we have House Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects. We help Mrs Goodrich lead the school and try to be the best Ambassadors that we can be but we can get a bit over excited sometimes!
All year 6 children have to sit SATS in May but we have a chance to catch up on learning if we need to, not only with the teacher every week but also in the Easter holidays up at the Chaddleworth site. This is good fun most of the time!
